These terms govern the Namco Funscape Big Summer Giveaway (the “Promotion”). By entering, you accept these terms in full.

  1. Promoter

The Promoter is Bandai Namco Amusement Europe Ltd (company number 2824795), registered in England and Wales, registered office:

37–39 Kew Foot Road, Richmond, TW9 2SS

Contact: enquiries@bandainamco.co.uk. Licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission, Operating Licence Number 2098. Namco Funscape venues are operated by Bandai Namco Amusement Europe Ltd.

  1. The Promotion

The Promotion is a free prize draw promoting the six participating Namco Funscape venues. No purchase is necessary: there is a free entry route open to everyone (see clause 5), and making a purchase or booking does not improve your chance of winning.

  1. Eligibility
  • Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the date of entry.
  • One entry per person, regardless of how you enter or how many venues you enter at. If more than one entry is received from you (for example, via both the online form and a booking, or at different venues), we reserve the right to treat them as a single entry and to determine which entry stands and the venue allocated to it. Bulk, automated or fraudulent duplicate entries will be disqualified (see clause 11).
  • Not open to employees or agents of the Promoter, its group companies, or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion, nor to members of their immediate families or households.
  • By entering you confirm you meet these eligibility criteria, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you accept these terms.
  1. Entry period
  • The Promotion opens at 00:01 (UK time) on 20 July 2026.
  • The Promotion closes at 23:59 (UK time) on 2 September 2026 (the “Closing Date”).
  • Entries received before the Promotion opens or after the Closing Date, or that are incomplete, will not be accepted.
  1. How to enter

You can enter in either of two ways:

  • Free online entry — complete the online entry form (hosted by our service provider Acteol) linked from the campaign page, providing your first name, last name, email address and your chosen venue, confirming you are 18 or over, and accepting these terms and conditions; or
  • Booking entry — make an online bowling booking at a participating Namco Funscape venue during the entry period, and you will be automatically entered into the draw for the venue you booked.

No purchase is necessary. The free online entry route is open to everyone and gives exactly the same single entry and the same chance of winning as the booking route — you do not need to make a booking to enter or to win.

We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, or not received due to technical failure, network, hardware or software failure of any kind, or any other reason outside our reasonable control.

  1. Venue selection

Each entry is allocated to one participating venue. If you enter via the free online form, this is the venue you select; if you are entered via a booking, it is the venue you booked. You are entered into the draw for that venue only, and the venue allocated to your entry is final and cannot be changed after entry.

  1. The prizes

There are six (6) winners in total: one (1) winner will be drawn at random at each of the six participating Namco Funscape venues — Norwich, Braintree, Romford, Tamworth, Trafford and Metrocentre.

Each winner receives one (1) bundle consisting of:

  • One (1) Nintendo Switch 2 console; and
  • One (1) Ultimate Bowling Pass, which:
    • is valid for 12 months from the date the winner receives the card;
    • is non-transferable;
    • admits a group of up to 4 people in total, including the winner;
    • permits a maximum of 4 games per month, with 1 game per booking;
    • does not roll over: the allowance of up to 4 games applies to each calendar month separately, and any unused games are lost at the end of that calendar month and do not carry forward or accumulate;
    • can only be booked and redeemed in person at the participating Namco Funscape venue for which the winner was entered (the winner’s “Prize Venue”);
    • can only be used on visits the winner personally attends and books, and cannot be used by others in the winner’s absence;
    • is subject to venue availability, opening hours and standard venue rules; and
    • is not redeemable for cash.
  1. Winner selection and notification
  • Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries for each venue after the Closing Date.
  • Each winner will be notified within 14 days of the Closing Date, using the contact details provided at entry.
  • A winner must respond and confirm acceptance within 5 days of the date we send the notification, to the contact details provided at entry. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within that period, or is found ineligible, we reserve the right to forfeit the prize and draw an alternative winner for that venue.
  1. Eligibility verification and prize collection

Prizes are collected in person at the venue the winner was entered for, at a time arranged with that venue following notification. The winner must arrange and complete collection within 28 days of confirming acceptance; if they do not, the prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter may, at its discretion, draw an alternative winner or withdraw the prize.

The prize must be claimed and collected in person by the entrant themselves. The person attending to collect must be the individual who submitted the entry, and must present valid photo ID matching the name and details provided at entry. Prizes cannot be collected by, or on behalf of, any other person — including by a parent, guardian, friend or representative. If the person attending is not the verified entrant, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be drawn. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, make reasonable alternative arrangements in exceptional circumstances (for example, disability or illness) on production of satisfactory proof of identity.

On collection, we may require the winner to provide proof of age, identity and UK residency (for example, photo ID). We check this at the point of collection and do not retain a copy. Failure to provide a valid proof may result in forfeit of the prize and the prize being awarded to an alternative winner.

  1. Prize substitution

There is no cash alternative to any prize won. We reserve the right to substitute any prize(s) of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond our reasonable control arise.

  1. Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify, without notice, any entry or entrant where we have reasonable grounds to believe there has been bulk, automated, fraudulent, duplicate or otherwise non-bona-fide entry, or any breach of these terms.

  1. Winners’ details

After the draw, the first name and venue of each winner may be announced in a post on Namco Funscape’s official social media channels. A list of the winners’ first names and venues will also be available for one month after the Closing Date by writing to the Promoter at the address in clause 1 (enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope).

  1. Data protection

Your entry details are collected and processed on the Promoter’s behalf by our service provider Acteol for the purposes of administering this Promotion, selecting and contacting winners, and fulfilling prizes. Marketing communications are a separate, optional choice you can opt in to at entry; choosing not to opt in does not affect your entry. We retain entry data only as long as necessary to administer the Promotion and handle any disputes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

If you are entered via a booking, we use the booking details you provided (such as your name, email address, and the venue and date booked) to enter you into the Promotion and to administer it. We will make you aware of this at the time of booking. If you would prefer not to be entered, email marketing@bandainamco.co.uk with your name and the venue you booked before the Closing Date, and we will remove your entry.

  1. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation in the Promotion or your use of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  1. General
  • We reserve the right to amend these terms, or to suspend or cancel the Promotion, where necessary for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
  • Our decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  1. Trademarks

Nintendo and Nintendo Switch are trademarks of Nintendo. This Promotion is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with Nintendo.

  1. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Eligibility Terms & Restrictions

  • Offer available only at Romford, Tamworth, Braintree, Norwich and Metrocentre.
  • At Tamworth, offer is only valid from 12pm until closing.
  • One kids meal is included per child purchasing the Summer Strike Deal.
  • Kids meal must be redeemed at the time of the bowling visit and cannot be exchanged for an alternative meal, except where required for dietary or allergen reasons.

Strike and Slice – Terms & Conditions (Norwich Only)

  • Offer available at Norwich venue only
  • Valid Monday to Sunday, 6pm–10pm, including bank holidays and half term
  • Last booking at 9pm
  • Last food orders to be placed at venue prior to 9.30pm
  • Price: £19.95 per person
  • Includes unlimited bowling during the promotional period stated above
  • Offer includes 20% off all pizza

The After School Club offer is available Monday to Friday between 3pm and 6pm, excluding school holidays and bank holidays. Availability and pricing vary by location.

Trafford Centre Offer:

Strike and Ride (Romford)

  • Subject to height restrictions, please check before you book.
  • Decision by site regarding height is final.
  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
  • Accompanying adults must also pay to ride.
  • Specific bumper car time slots cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.
  • Once received at site, bumper car tokens are valid for one year. 
  • Tokens must be retained to be used at a later date.

ONE PIECE CARD GAME Official Shop Stamp Card

  • You will receive one stamp every time you attend a ONE PIECE CARD GAME event (e.g. Casual Battle, Tournament)
  • One stamp given per tutorial session. Multiple sessions do not qualify. 
  • Prizes will be decided by Bandai Namco Amusement Europe Ltd. 
  • No alternative prize will be offered, nor can it be exchanged for cash. 
  • Prize must be collected in store in exchange for a completed stamp card. 
  • Lost stamp cards cannot be replaced by the company.
  • Replicating or reselling of these stamp cards is prohibited.
  • Your card will automatically expire 1 month after the last stamped date.

Carers Go Free

Everyone deserves the right to a fun day out and that shouldn't come at an extra cost to carers. That's why one carer goes free with a paying person with special needs at all times. Any additional carers are required to pay normal rack rate.

Carers are required to show one form of documentation as evidence of their carer status, such as:

  • Max Card

  • Access Card / Nimbus Card

  • Carers Award Letter

  • Bus Pass with C+

  • Carers Card

  • Receipt of Carers Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment, or Attendance Allowance

Pricing:

Blue Light Discount

  • Available at all NAMCO Funscape locations.
  • Anyone who presents a Blue Light Card can bowl at a junior rate (Braintree, Romford, Tamworth & Norwich).

  • One person needs to hold and show a Blue Light card.
  • Must be booked in person or over the phone.

Tamworth Rewards Card
